# What happened to the GED test in Canada?

The GED test in Canada was **replaced** by the CAEC test for adult high school equivalency testing. This change applies to all participating provinces and territories.

**Please note:** [Cansego offers CAEC prep](https://cansego.ca/online-ged-classes/) to help you get ready for the test, but we are not involved in the testing process. All testing is handled through the official CAEC portal.
