# Can I take the CAEC test online?

Right now, it’s not possible to take the CAEC test online.

The CAEC must be taken in person at an official testing center.

## Get Complete Online CAEC Prep. Pass Faster!

Prepare for all five CAEC subjects with Cansego's short lessons, practice tests, and flexible study plans. Study at home, at your own pace.

 [Explore Online CAEC Prep →](https://cansego.ca/online-ged-classes/?mtm_campaign=can-general-articles)

After you create your account on the CAEC website, you will be able to choose a testing location near you when you schedule your test.

**Please note:** [Cansego offers CAEC prep](https://cansego.ca/online-ged-classes/) to help you get ready for the test, but we are not involved in the testing process. All testing is handled through the official CAEC portal.
