How Calgary CAEC Test Works

The Calgary CAEC Test is part of Canada’s new high school equivalency system. On May 3, 2024, the GED test was officially replaced by the CAEC (Canadian Adult Education Credential) across most of Canada, including Alberta. The CAEC is now the recognized way for adult learners to earn a high school equivalency diploma.

If you live in Calgary and want to earn your diploma, here’s how the Calgary CAEC Test works and what you need to know.
